Who is this that spun into existence

Who is this that left a throne in Heaven
To show the world the Father’s heart?
Who is this that stepped across dimensions
That we’d no longer be apart?

The great I am, the first and last, I call him Lord

Who is this that breaks loose the shackles,
Brings freedom to the captive soul?
Who is this that the waves obey Him,
The storm would calm at His command?
Who is this casting out my demons
Giving the weak the strength to stand?

The mystery, true humanity,  I call him Lord

The One who walked that road to Calvary,
Nailed to a cross and scorned with shame
The One who knows all my flawed intentions
Yet would meet me in my pain?

The lover of my soul,  the king of this heart, I call him Lord

Who is this guiding by the Spirit?
Who helps discern my wrong from right?
Who is this that propels me forward,
With me through my darkest night?
